Instrumentation used for determination of in - situ stresses and laboratory investigations, Design of underground openings. Design of pillars in underground coal mines, Rock reinforcement / Ground improvement techniques in rock masses, Subsidence: Prediction and measurement of subsidence. Subsidence damage and control.
